I am a pediatric orthopedic surgeon at Grenoble University Hospital, specializing in the management of spinal deformities in children and adolescents. In 2018, I founded the Centre Alpin de la Scoliose, a center dedicated to providing comprehensive support for young patients with scoliosis, from initial consultation through to surgical treatment.

My academic career began under the direction of Professors Jean Dubousset and Wafa Skalli, at Arts et Métiers, where I studied the predictive factors of worsening idiopathic scoliosis. Today, my clinical activity is almost exclusively devoted to this pathology.

We were among the first in France to offer an innovative alternative to vertebral arthrodesis: minimally invasive surgery using Vertebral Body Tethering (VBT). In certain cases, this technique enables scoliosis to be corrected while preserving spinal mobility.

The Alpine Scoliosis Center also conducts a dynamic research activity, focusing on the analysis of movement in scoliosis patients and the development of digital twins. Our aim is to identify scoliosis with high evolutionary potential, using predictive models derived from biomechanical analysis and personalized simulations.
