The Foundations’s call for reseach projects runs till March 31st each year.

•    The scientific board has 11 members who select the projects to be supported each year.  Responsible for upholding ethics, the council assures a regular monitoring of each team selected :  insuring their commitment to circulate information and to participate in a yearly assembly organized by the Institut de France in Paris

•    The administrative board manages the administrative functioning of the Foundation and validates the budgets and the grants allocated.

 

At the end of the year, the international research teams meet together for a three-day symposium in Paris. All scientifics Share acquired knowledge and synthesis of the progress achieved from previous years with the donators and friends of the foundation.

 

FINANCING RESEARCH
The Cotrel Foundation is nonprofit organization.  It is supported by revenues from a family donation.  

The donations and bequests received are entirely given to the research.
